Hours that work for your family

The school opens to children at 7:30 am. Every class starts at the same time; they differ only in when the standard day ends.

Extended day and full day

Care built around your working day

Extended day runs to 5:00 pm and full day to 6:30 pm. Both are optional, both are charged termly, and a child takes one or the other rather than both. Please tell the school office before the term begins if you would like to start, stop or change between them, so that we can staff it properly.

Room to play

The day has structured breaks built in, not just structured lessons

A long day at school is not one long lesson. Break times are timetabled the same as any class, so that a child has real time outdoors with their friends between periods of focused work.

Arrival and collection

A safeguarding matter as much as a practical one

A child may be brought to school from 7:30 am and is handed to a member of staff. No child is left at the gate.

A child is released only to a parent, or to an adult you have named in writing. If someone else is to collect, please tell the school office in advance.

If you are going to be late, telephone the office. A child who has not been collected is supervised by staff and we will contact you. A grace period of 30 minutes follows the end of your child's day; after it, late collection is charged at GHS 1.00 a minute.

Hours are a safeguarding matter as much as a practical one. A child should be in the care of a named adult at every point between arrival and collection, and we take that seriously.
